Your first backup

Once your Basecamp account is connected, you’re ready to archive your first project.

Choose what to back up

Select the projects you want AirCapsule to archive. You can add or remove projects later; your plan sets how many projects you can keep under continuous backup.

What gets saved

Each backup captures the substance of the project: to-dos, messages, documents, schedules, and attachments. It’s a faithful copy of the work, not just a list of titles.

Where it’s stored

All data lives on EU-resident infrastructure in Amsterdam, GDPR-compatible by default. Your archive is yours; AirCapsule is the custodian, not the owner.

After the first run

The first backup may take a little while on large projects. After that, daily automated backups keep your archive current; there’s nothing to schedule. Next, see how the History Machine works.
