Connect your Basecamp account

AirCapsule connects to Basecamp through the official OAuth integration on basecamp.com. You never share your password; Basecamp hands AirCapsule a scoped token you can revoke at any time.

Before you start

You need a Basecamp account you can sign in to on basecamp.com. AirCapsule works with current Basecamp (including Basecamp 5). Basecamp Classic (the 2014 version) is not supported.

Connect in three steps

  1. Open AirCapsule and choose Connect Basecamp.
  2. You’re sent to Basecamp’s own authorization screen. Review the access AirCapsule requests and approve.
  3. You’re returned to AirCapsule, now linked to your Basecamp organization.

What access AirCapsule asks for

AirCapsule reads the projects you choose to back up: to-dos, messages, documents, schedules, and attachments. It does not post or change anything in Basecamp. The connection is read-only.

What happens next

Once connected, pick the projects to archive and AirCapsule runs your first backup. From there, daily automated backups keep your archive current.

Want to disconnect? Revoke AirCapsule’s access from your Basecamp account settings at any time; your existing archive stays yours.
